Gohil, a known detractor of Gujarat’s chief minister, said the BJP PM candidate has always challenged the elections by creating a fear psychosis among Muslims by raising issues such as the meeting with Sohrabuddin and the Sir Creek dispute with Pakistan.

Congress has always combed the anti-Muslim riots of 2002 to target Modi.

His reaction came shortly after BJP leader Rajnath Singh called on Muslims to give the party a chance and not rely on “propaganda” being spread by Congress. Singh promised Muslims to stand up for equality and to apologize for any “mistakes” or lapses in the past.

Gohil alleged that the BJP always played the politics of deception as it never built a temple for Lord Ram, despite coming to power on the Ayodhya issue.

“They swore in the name of Lord Ram, to build a magnificent temple in Ayodhya. But no temple was built. take a jibe at the saffron festival.

Gohil alleged that the BJP and Rajnath Singh have always had a habit of distorting history to cast Congress in a bad light. “We do not have a votebank policy unlike them.”

“Today, they have common sense, it is welcome,” said Congress spokesman, when asked about the remark by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal that communitarianism was more dangerous than corruption.

Rajnath Singh had already appealed to Muslims: “Please note that anytime, anywhere, if there has been any mistake and failure on our part, I assure you that we will apologize to you with a bow of our heads. . “

“Try us once. We don’t live up to your expectations, never look at us again,” he said at the “Modi for PM – Mission 272+ – role of Muslims” event here.
