No court order stopping Adamawa CPA Congress – Committee
Professor Umar Katsayal, chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adamawa State Congress Election Committee, said everything is now ready for Congress and no court ruling has stopped the exercise .
Katsayal told reporters amid rumors about the court order on Saturday in Yola.
He said the seven committee members deployed to Adamawa were present at the site, waiting for INEC officials to be fully represented.
According to him, the Congress was established in accordance with the party guidelines of Article 11A subsection 1-8, 16i of the constitution of the CPA.

“The congress of neighborhoods and local communities was successful and today we are here to lead for the state.
“The Interim Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) appointed and deployed a seven-member committee to Adamawa.
“As you can see, the electoral material is already there, no judicial injunction prevents us from participating in this congress”, declared the president, while assuring that they would respect fully the provisions of the constitution of the party.
Also confirming the development, presidential aspirant Ahmed Lawal said they were ready for the election as he would not resign for anyone.
The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that more security personnel from the police, the Nigeria Civil Defense and Security Corps (NSCDC) and the FRSC, have been deployed to the site, to ensure a congress. without a hitch.
