Congress: The Congress government has forgotten the people of Rajasthan: Ex-CM Vasundhara Raje

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Sunday attacked the Congress government in the state, saying those in power only cared about the “chair” and had forgotten about the public. The top BJP leader said the state is going through anarchy and there is no one to listen to the people.

Raje, while addressing a function here, highlighted the achievements of the previous BJP government.

“The state was ahead in our time in education, health, roads, electricity and water conservation, but today it is ahead in crime, atrocities against women and Dalits, and corruption,” she said.

“Those in power have forgotten the public in the concern of the president,” she alleged.

Raje said his government built a memorial to Lord Parashuram at Matrukundiya in Chittorgarh district and constructed several temples and monuments.

“The party that is doing a good job should have another opportunity, but that did not happen. If we had a chance, the unfinished work would have been completed and our state would have been far ahead in terms of development. However , today it is lagging behind,” she said.

Former Minister and MP Kali Charan Saraf, MP Ramcharan Bohra, former BJP President Ashok Parnami, former Women’s Commission Chairperson Suman Sharma and other leaders were also featured in the program.
