2 years after the dissolution, the Odisha Congress Committee restructured

Bhubaneswar: Two years after the dissolution of the Odisha Pradesh Congressional Committee (OPCC), the Indian Congressional Committee (AICC) today reconstituted the panel by appointing new officers.

“The President of Congress has approved the proposal for the appointment of the members of the Bureau and the Executive Committee of the OPCC, with immediate effect,” said a statement released by the AICC today.

The new committee will have 12 vice-presidents, including MPP Satish Singh Saluja, former MPs Ganeswar Behera and Debashis Patnaik and 20 general secretaries, including former Youth Congress president Odisha Rajat Choudhury and journalist turned politician. Satya Prakash Nayak.

The committee also consists of 46 secretaries and a treasurer.

In addition, AICC also reconstituted the OPCC executive committee with party chairman Pradeep Majhi, PLC leader Narasingha Mishra and MP Suresh Routray appointed as members, among others. The committee also includes ex-officio members, including all deputies / deputies and state AICC officials, former CPC presidents, and all heads of front-line organizations.
